Leslie Frazier doesn't want Thursday's sound thrashing by a middle-of-the-pack opponent to start a downward spiral.

Look at what Nelson did for the Gophers today. He's willing to throw the ball not afraid to make a mistake. Take note Ponder study his film!

Well that was stupid. John Sullivan bouncing the shotgun snap off Ponder's shin had absolutely nothing to do with losing the game, regardless of what Adrian thinks. Our defense can't give up 36 points to a 2-5 team, AT HOME, and let an unknown running back rush for 214 yards against us. It's squarely on the defense's shoulders for that pathetic performance. And Jared Allen should be smarter than getting into a fight with a 350 pound black guy when he just lost his helmet, even if he was a former Viking practice squad scrub who was handing him his lunch all night.

Leslie you don't have to worry about Thursdays game starting a downward spiral, that spiral started a few weeks ago against Washington!

Probably only 1 more win on schedule. Team will fall apart and hopefully this coaching staff will not be retained.

I get tired of hearing Frazier say "we can fix that".....every week the same thing. Also, Frazier talks and defends Ponder like this was his first bad game. Ponder's combined stats from the last three games wouldn't equal a single game of stats for other QB's. Why will we have to wait until the offseason to hear Frazier say that "Christian regressed this past year and we got watch the tape and get it fixed in time for next year". I agree that "Ponder needs to fix something" but I don't think Frazier and staff have a clue as to what it is that "needs fixin'".

I really can't figure out why so many fans and even the experts were amazed at the Vikes early season record. Most pundits had them down for 5-6 wins for the season. Where did they think those 5-6 wins were going to come from, surely not the second half of the season.

The 2012 vikings club is not a playoff caliber team and everyone knows it. Now that the "creampuff" portion of this year's schedule is over and they will be facing the Bears and Packers twice, Seattle and Houston on the road this club will be lucky to finish 7-9. All the hype in the world (courtesy of Winter Park and the Strib) could not fool us homers because we all knew the vikings were getting by on a very favorable schedule the first half of this season but now, after being humiliated by the Redskins and Bucs it is obvious the vikings were nothing but pretenders all along!!!

the vikings have over a week and a half to get things fixed on offense, and if nothing works than musgrave needs to go, just my opinion but how can you keep harvin off the field on 3rd down? harvin had every right to yell at musgrave.

I still have optimism for an 8-8 record. That being said, I do believe Seattle's d-line will set the single game sack record against our atrocious o-line. Hey, at least the vikes will be in the record books.

The Bears will win the NFC North Division by three games over the Pack. The purple finish 7-9 and the Lions at 6-10.
