A "Hybrid Monster Storm?" Is that like a Prius with gigantic tires and flames painted down the sides?
All easterner take heed, Romney keeps talking up the private sector, smaller government,ect.....
Be thankful when big government is clearing out the debris and this little, old retiree in Mn has paid his taxes on time rather than hiding his assets in some over-seas bank...!!
Move to the west coast and you don't have to worry about storms. You have to occasionally deal with wildfires (depending where you live)...but, unlike superstorms, wildfires are mostly man-made and are preventable.
gov christie is declaring an emergency. some of his favorite restaurants might have to close. oh my.
The National Weather Service is taking a more moderate view. The threat for heavy snow is reduced to a very small area in West Virgia, elevations over 2,500 feet, which means it will only effect a few thousand people at most. Widespread wind damage seems to be the biggest threat along with coastal flooding. I seriously doubt it's going to level the entire northeast but it certainly could cause some major problems. Widespread winds of 35-70mph could cause a lot of power outages but I don't see a huge amount of structural damage. That being said, hope I'm right!
Glad to see it's not called "Frankenstorm" anymore. Senator Franken gets blamed for everything.
Seems strange a collection of blue states are being slammed at election time. Hmmmmm.
