"Diversity" is an interesting word. When it is applied to anything else in the world, it means "a wide variety". But suddenly when it is applied to people, white folks often take it to mean "more people who are different from me." This is NOT true diversity. True diversity is when we have a variety, not all (or mostly) this way or all (mostly) that way. So, looking at the chart, some pretty diverse starting 5s last year were: Golden State, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Minnesota, Phoenix, San Antonio, Utah. And some of the least diverse starting 5s last year were: Boston, Indiana, Detroit, Clippers, Nets, Sacramento, Washington, New York. Minnesota's starting 5 this year is not diverse because it is racially unbalanced (not because the players are white).
