Judge says no to Prairie Seeds bid to play in soccer tourney

A judge denied Prairie Seeds' bid to prevent its disqualification from a state soccer playoff match, even as both teams prepared for a chance to play.

Maybe this will actually teach the students that it does not pay to lie. I am glad the judge didn't support them and let them play. It's just sad that it had to end up in the court the first place. Maybe if the put this much emphasis on education our schools wouldn't be in the shape that they are.

A small but important distinction: Prairie Seeds was not disqualified from the state tournament. They didn't advance to the tournament because they lost their Section Final game by forfeit.
