I am more than happy to pay a premium for something that is designed well and performs as you would hope. I am so tired of buying junk. The cordless up right I purchased is a dream of a machine.

I love this guy's designs and unique concepts. However, his products are never highly rated by Consumer reports, etc. Perhaps it is the high price, but this scares me away from purchasing a Dyson vacuum.

Ingenious design, yes. Quality cleaning machine, nope.

I like that he mentions "wrong thinking" when describing his design process. Kids are a great inspiration for "wrong thinking" and are great at seeing that there are endless ways to think about the ordinary and familiar.
