The Humane Society of the United States (not your local humane society), who is giving Target it's marching orders, should show the results of a group of comingled sows fighting in a large pen, establishing their pecking order. It's not pretty. Blood, broken hips, split hooves, torn ears. And those animals can't be butchered after an injury. It's a bullet between the eyes, and off to the rendering truck. This is going to cause higher food prices in the grocery store. They are already pretty high.

Remember when Micheal Vick had those pitbulls that were trained to fight to death? That's the way sows fight when put together in a pen. That is why veterinarians recommended to farmers to put in the humane stalls that Target is condemming.
