The Vikings offense sputtered, while the defense found no way to stop elusive rookie back Doug Martin.

By the time Ponder completes a pass, the Vikings are behind 13-0 and the game is over!!!! I think we need to take a look at Joe Webb. Ponder has lost all of our games this year!

Peterson good, Ponder not so much, receivers (except Percy) handled by Tampa corners (until late prevent defense). Defense just completely looked overmatched, shades of last season. Vike corners not up in the Tampa receivers 'grill', they allowed the Buc receivers to run their routes with ease. What a step backwards tonight. I certainly hope the Vikes learn from this and can play better but the second half schedule will not be kind to them. Regardless, Go Vikes!

The 5-2 start to the season was fun while it lasted... but it's over now. Ponder has been bad for quite a few games now, so all you naysayers who complain that we are over reacting about Ponder... like Barreiro says... Get over it! This guy is not the QB that will be starting for us for the next 5 years. Freeman stood in the pocket and made so many more passes than Ponder it's embarrassing. Mike Mayock continually pointed out horrible decisions by Ponder and even suggesting we needed to take the ball out of Ponder's hands. 5-2 to 7-9. Hopefully we can find two wins out there the second half... maybe not.

So we're about 0-8 the last prime time games we've played. I was certain we'd win this one, what an opportunity thrown away. This is pitiful, we're heading downhill and picking up speed. Ponder is derailing in front of our eyes, I'm sorry but he's just not going to amount to much. I know it's early, but this game cost us any playoff hopes this year. We got humiliated by a 2-4 team at home!!!!! There's no excuse for that, terrible coaching, our true colors are starting to show. Disgusting to say the least!!!!

Where to begin? How about..... how does Musgrave have a job? Without AP's 64 yard td run, this offense did NOTHING for the second week in a row. Last week Harvin didnt catch a pass in the second half and tonight he doesnt catch one in the second half until 6 minutes left in the game and both of them were 1 yard hitch passes. The only time they did anything passing was when the game was over and Tampa was playing prevent just giving up yards. Musgrave got Tony Gonzalez how many catches in Atlanta??? and cant get Rudolph any. Every coordinator in the league has a play calling sheet that is 2ft x 2ft and Musgrave's is the size of a 4x6 notecard and it shows. Also, Ponder makes no adjustments at the line. Tampa has 8 or 9 guys at the line and does nothing, but when they rush 4 he audible. I thought he was supposed to be so smart. Him and Musgrave are a terrible combo.

Need to get rid of Bill Musgrave. Ever since he has been OC, the Vikes haven't got off to a good start at the beginning of games. There has to be a reason he was forced to resign from being the OC for the Carolina Panthers after four games. And look at how good Matt Ryan is now, without Musgrave.

It all starts with the head coach and Leslie Frazier is not the guy. A team plays to the personality of the coach and Frazier is too soft and weak (personality wise). The Vikes need a strong Bud Grant like coach who can exercise some leadership when the team gets down. The Vikes have been too reliant on the leadership of vets; but not enough of this leadership on the coaching staff when it's needed and when it counts (like being down at halftime). As for Ponder; I still believe in the guy, but he needs a coach who's a good leader and Frazier is not that guy.

I'm not sure Ponder is the problem here. I know that sounds crazy, but this offensive game plan is beyond puzzling. What is the Vikings identity on offense?!? Are they are running team? Are they are really bad passing team?! What the hell is going on with this play calling. It's as if Musgrave is just throwing the most conservative play calling up against a wall and hoping something sticks. Unfortunately what sticks are bubble screens and passes that have no meaning. You wonder what the Vikings would look like offensively with a Sean Payton or even a Mike McCarthy calling the plays. I have to think it would be a lot more creative than this mess. I don't care how incompetent your QB is there is no way you can meander to 300 yards of offense against that very weak Tampa defense. Its coaching..plain and simple....

Classic Minnesota. Your Teams are terrible and embarrassing. You love paying taxes and voting democrat!!! The teams take on the States personality. Well at least you have the Lynx, wait they lost also. Get over it your teams will never be good. I guarantee someone will make a post declaring this will be good, for a better draft pick next year. Stop taking it!!!
