And the Gophers do not, that is, lack that winning formula? The Gophers may indeed have a winning formula at the ready, that is, to score more points than their opponents, except for the fact that their defense cannot stop anyone and their offense is problematic at best. And, of course, the Gophers have a coach who is simply not ready for prime time as demonstrated by his dumb and cowardly decision to buy out of two games with a very average opponent, a decision that will always define Kill's tenure as the Gopher coach, no matter what happens in the future.
