It's obvious that the Obama campaign is extremely worried. Not only do they look for situations like this to attack, but look at their media coverage. NBC Nightly News is following Obama for the next two days, interviewing him, letting him spout his campaign rhetoric. They're following Romney as well, but they don't interview him - they just keep bringing up what is wrong. And then to have Obama be a guest on the Tonight Show last night and take up what would be the equivalent time of two guests. The Obama campaign is very worried.
Romney has just tied Obama concerning women voters according to the latest polls.
That's a 16 point swing for you last few remaining Obama apologists.
"If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things."...the obama re-election stategy, as voiced by the current occupier of the White House.
Women in general seem to be able to spot phonies. Mitt Romney is the biggest fraud of any presidential nominee I can remember in my lifetime. I don't think even he knows what he stands for anymore. They crucified John Kerry four years ago for being a flipflopper--Romney changes positions every ten minutes. Obama may not be perfect, but there's no question he has my vote.
I wonder how it's working for Obama;----------------------------------------------------------
AP-GfK poll: Romney erases Obama advantage among women while Obama gains ground with men
Article by: NANCY BENAC and JENNIFER AGIESTA , Associated Press
There is actually no catalyst for women to change their preference that much in such a short time period. Obama has not made any gaffs or contrary statements regarding women. Romney certainly hasn't made any dramatic changes in position regarding the same. I would need to see more than a single reputable poll to convince me there has been much of a change. 16 points is a lot. One would need to look into how that poll was conducted and what question was actually asked.
Women do not want Obama to continue his "waste and borrow" economic policy. The Wall Street Journal carries a recent editorial that describes a shameful scheme that Obama put together for his fundraising bundler pals. Remember Solyndra - we loaned them $535 million and Obama walked their new plant floor and shouted that green energy would save our economy. Well they went bankrupt. Just before bankruptcy we were asked to subordinate our loan to the loan from the owner/CEO and we did so he did not lose his money - he was the bundler for Obama's fundraising - it was a pure gift to him from us arranged by Obama. So we lost all our money. Now, the WSJ says it got worse. The Obama administration arranged for the bankrupt company to have the loss carryforward for tax purposes which the owner now can use to shield $535 million from future tax, this costing us another $250 million and reducing taxes for Obama's friend by $250 million. This is a double whammy for the taxpayers and a bonanza for Obama's fundraiser. Now the purpose of the loan initially was to create jobs. None were created, zero, nada. We probably had to borrow the money from the Chinese to make the loan. So, Obama's economic policy - borrow money from the Chinese and waste it for the taxpayers but be sure Obama's friends get benefits. Very wise policy for America. He must go.
Think about this for a second. Obama won in a virtual landslide in 2008 against McCain. He beat McCain by about 10,000,000 votes. Fast forward 4 years and look where he is at. The man has lost 10,000,000+ voters who backed him in 2008. That is a huge amount of voters who said "Hope and Change" isn't for them anymore. That is very significant...
It's working just fine for Obama, despite the conservatives on this page who are doing their usual hate and lies song and dance. Women who vote for Romney and Koch et al are shooting themselves and they female counterparts in the foot. A vote for Romney sends us back to 1954
If the poll showing Romney tied with Obama on the women's vote is accurate, this will be a Romney landslide.
