Great. Now let's pass it to him.

Stewart is so articulate, and really understands how cliches should be used. "Brings a lot to the table," and "has a great skill set." OK. What are his unique skills, and what does he bring to the table?

I hope Tyus Jones goes to NC or Duke. I would hate to see a good kid with that ability get tangled up in the UofM's athletic department fiasco. Best of luck to Tyus.

Any chance Tyus Young doesn't go to Duke?

The U has 0 chance of getting Tyrus Jones and I mean 0.He keeps the Gophers on his list as a common courtesy.I don't care who is coach here it doesn't make a difference.Unless a kid grows up with a love for his state and home he will go to the big time program. That kind of upbringing is a rare commodity nowadays. The media also makes it very tough, look at Kentucky, their coach has a new program on ESPN every week. Can you imagine how that helps their recruiting. The disparity just keeps getting worse and worse.Maybe we should have an Obama type of redistribution of basketball wealth.

I really wanted to find out those skills that Harvin has. I read the article three times. What I found out was this: He's different and he's special compared to the greats who were also different and special. Uh Huh. He did have toughness and raw speed but I'm pretty sure those other guys had that too. Then drum roll: compared to today's wideouts, he has god given abilities! What the heck, god didn't like those other guys? Hey I'm different and special and have god given abilities too but I can't do diddly with a football. What I thought I was going to hear is that he could do a 48 inch vertical leap over the heads of a safety and cornerback while picking the ball out of the air with one hand and that no one could do this like Harvin, or something like that. Instead I got a story that if it came out of the mouth of a politician would be one of the very best evasive, non-informational answers I've ever heard. Works for politicians, not for sportswriters.

robotdude, yeah he could have expounded. Here are my thoughts: It's his ability to make people miss, find the hole, slow down/hesitate at just the right time, turn on the gas at just the right time, take a hit-get out of a hit, etc. It's yards after catch.

Okay, settle down, people. Harvin is no Carter/Moss as a receiver and no Devin Hester/Brian Mitchell as a kick returner, but he's a very nice mix of all of them and I'm REALLY glad he's on our team ! ! !
