For district court, 'retail' legal background is a plus.
Marc Berris will be a great state court judge. He is down to earth and has an extremely diverse background. There is no doubt that he will be an asset to the bench. I would be very surprised if he suffers from "black robe disease" (the notion that a seemingly normal, decent attorney gets an abnormally big ego once becoming a judge). He handles himself with too much grace and honor to fall for such shenanigans....Hennepin County will be greatly served by Marc. And who is the person running against him? Never heard of her.
Well you got this one right... Marc Berries is by far the better candidate.
