The understocked Sesame Street character is in such demand at some stores that buyers are building their own avian outfits for Halloween.

If the costume is a licensed copy of Big Bird, then The Childerns Work Shop gets a cut of the action. That is how they have amassed close to $300 Million in resources through out the years. Due to the fees from marketing, they are awash in money.
