Tubby is surrounded by knuckleheads and that's the bigger issue with this program. When your own kid hurts your success it's an up hill climb to get back to the middle and we've had too much climbing to the middle and no progress to the top yet. I'm not convinced we will ever get there. Sorry my patience is run out. No 4-5 star players showing up means we are a .500 team. Just dont like it.

Wait a minute, the U had credibility in something? I don't think so.

Perception is reality and the perception is that Tubby doesn't get it. He and his son obviously have no idea the natives are restless and he is on thin ice. We expected more, a lot more.

Will we ever recruit the players to help us get "over the top" with all this negativity? We are the "most Northern" school in the Big 10...we have a hard time getting kids to Mn anytime, much less now with these last two player/coaching gaffs; it will even be harder to recruit and sign quality players in the future.

Given his history and the fact that he just doesn't seem to get it, you can be sure that Mkwabe will do something stupid during the season and be kicked off of the team as a result. It is just a matter of time.

He shouldn't be fired. That is harsh.

THE failure for TUBBY to win makes problems even stick out even more than usual.UNTIL TUBBY starts to get better players the gophers will always be mediocre which is unacceptable TUBBY has got to recruit better get 4 and 5 star recruits.

Sletten, it has nothing to do with geography. But, you're right - the U will continue to have a hard time recruiting. That has everything to do with having the worst coach in the B1G who happens to be a lousy recruiter.
