The running back didn't play like someone with a sore ankle, and got a reward from the owner.

As Bud Grant once said after a reporter fussed about an ugly 3-0 win against the Packers, "There no such thing as an ugly win." At the end of the year, we don't ask how we got our "W"s, just how many do you have. Skol!

Now if we can just find a quarterback this would be a good team. Time to dust off Joe Webb and run the option.

AP is a unique athlete. Rehabbing knees take a year for most humans to walk without pain and a limp. Forever after most mortals favor that knee and slow down. Peterson rehabbed in record time, now has a sprained ankle, and runs with abandon. Amazing! Amazing! The Vikings have had a few great backs: Foreman, Smith, the two Browns were all great, but there is only one Peterson and he is just the best!

The vikies / cardinal game was a typical "HumptyDome stinker" where a bad team comes to play the purple in the league's most sterile and generic atmosphere and both teams play a horrible game. Ponder's 58 yards passing will go down in the history books as the biggest laugher in HumptyDome histoty next to Gary Anderson's missed 38 yard field goal in the 1998 NFC Championship game that cost the purple a certain Super Bowl appearance. LOL!!!

prplstooge: Last I checked, the Cardinals DO NOT have a bad defense. Ranked 7th overall, last I checked. Admittedly, it was sloppy play by the Offense, but let's not forget it was ALSO a very good defense they lined up against.

@prplstooge - perhaps your karma is partly responsible for your defense getting bit by the injury bug. Rogers has looked ok the last couple games, but you're not winning any SBs with that defense. ha ha...
