Please, keep the SPCO affordable. Do no raise concert ticket prices, I know many affluent patrons can afford that, but not everyone else can, not in this economy. Everyone is making compromises in this economy, it should not be any different for musicians.

It is immature for the union to say its members can't vote by Sunday. Stop with the vendetta. Get real.

That financial information is critical for union members to make an informed vote. I have gone without a pay raise for several years as well as paying more for my health care, but a 33% pay cut is HUGE.

I am a long-time SPCO season ticket holder. I have shallow pockets. That means cheap seats before the pricing restructure. I understand the realities of running a business and guarding the bottom line. I am interested in knowing if administrative staff will be taking a 33% cut as well as the musicians. And whether administrators had to vote/respond by an arbitrary deadline, up or down, yes/no, or face lockout. I am particularly interested in the annual compensation package for Mr. West. Detractors may claim that this stalemate is caused by the union. My observation is that the union is the only protection the musicians have when administrators hold all the cards. Meanwhile, beautiful, soul-soothing music is at risk. A major loss for all of us. All.Of.Us.

Has anyone actually priced the SPCO tickets? I just visited their website and they're practically giving them away. Raise your prices already, jeeesh.

Go to TPT2's website and access last evening's Almanac program. The two sides were represented and presented their cases. It was fascinating to watch. Hand over the financials...not in time for Sunday's lockout. Raise the ticket prices...off the table. There is no negotiating going on here at all. It is Dobson West's way or the highway. Does anyone know how one fires a Board President???

they know who they all are, call in the votes from out of towners, get creative, fax them in, why are they out of town anyway when they know this is a big deal, their job!?
