Vikings are best when Harvin is raising havoc

He's been tough, he's been productive and he's the spark that ignites the offense.

Is it a coincidence that we haven't heard about Percy having migrane headaches since Chili was fired?

Musgrave had Peterson on the sidelines too for a couple drives in the red zone. Putting your 2 playmakers on the sidelines might have a little something to do with failing to score a TD.

If Trent Dilfer 2.0 plays Angry, then we should win against Arizona. If he doens't play angry, we might lose.

Frazier, why don't you and your staff make some plays for both Harvin and Peterson? Your coaching plans are just a disgrace!!

If two of your primary weapons are starting to get banged up this early in the season, are they going to make it all the way to the end? I watched the game and towards the end, AP and Percy were bleeding and limping. The Vikings need to develop some other play makers in a quick hurry if they want AP and Percy to make it to the end.

@ olneymac - You must be out of your mind. Harvin & Peterson got banged up a little bit, but that's football. These men are professional athletes that get played very handsomely to take a 60 minute beating for 16 (and hopefully a few more) weeks a year. The Vikings don't need to develop more play-makers, they need to draft a top notch deep threat. That's really all this team is missing offensively. If the Vikings were smart, they would trade for a top notch WR (Dwayne Bowe anyone?) before they realize Simpson is not who we thought he was.

The vikings are nothing more than a 6-10 / 8-8 (at best) caliber team and everyone knows it. It seems that the ONLY time the vikings and Harvin can ever cause "havoc" is when they play against the league's worst teams at home in the HumptyDome. We all saw what a mediocre team like the redskins did to these clowns last week, they blew them out and Harvin was nowhere to be found along with the rest of the team!!!

prplstooge, you need to go to school. Maybe major in comprehension. Right now clearly what you write is clearly not what you see. Percy Harvin had his best receiving day as a pro football player. The team got down by a lot and at least had the inner fortitude to hand in there and not give up. 11-12 points is not getting blown out. They made 2 turnovers which directly lead to 14 points. If those don't happen the Vikes had every chance to win the game.

@d1125 - I think we all saw how RGIII (the rookie QB from Baylor) schooled the vikings all day long. We also witnessed Ponder, Peterson and Harvin disappear when it they needed to get into the end zone. Minus the viking's "garbage time" points the vikings put up when the Redskins had the game in the bag Blair Walsh was the only viking scoring points!!! Maybe the Ponder, the defense and the vikings coaching staff are the one's that need to "go back to school" as you suggested.
