Let me see if I have this straight; You voted several times to reject a generous offer despite our economic situation and you are now suggesting that we consumers boycott a respecatble business that produces a good product? I've got a better solution; I have decided to boycott Unions. Maybe you pawns can go out looking for some additional voters to champion your cause.
Good grief - I am so tired of these cry babies ! They know they cannot find a job that will pay them what American Crystal did - so they keep up the whining. Am really sick of it - they refuse any offers given to them. i say kudos to AC and let them find something that will even come close to what they had !! Also stay away from my stores - you are old news and we will all purchase what we like without whiners distracting us !
Unions are actually destroying their own existence.
Kind of funny really.
thanks for the info, will go to target tomorrow and get stocked up for the holidays and baking
Dear AFL-CIO, Thank you for informing me the Market Pantry brand of sugar was a Crystal Sugar product, I did not realize that. I'll make sure I include that in my next grocery list. We need to keep the Current Crystal Sugar employees and Target workers employed to help get us out of this mess. Sorry your leadership does not realize that!
IF Crystal Sugar didn't offered a fair contract then I MIGHT feel sorry for these people but since they did, I don't.
Good to know Market Pantry sugar is American Crystal. I will be stocking up on my next grocery trip. Thanks for the info AFL-CIO.
So the union wants to hurt the consumers that purchase their products and keep them in business. Now that is smart. Or is it strong-arming? Either way, I'll be sure to buy Crystal Sugar and products, and while I'm at it, I'll make sure my siblings and kids do the same. AFL-CIO: Have you union bosses missed our paychecks like your members have?
It's nice for the AFL-CIO to let us know that the less expensive Market Pantry sugar is also ACS. I've been paying the higher price for branded ACS sugar since the union's ridiculous labor stance came to light. ACS was one of the VERY few companies that voluntarily offered existing union employees a pay increase (to help offset the necessary healthcare cost increases) in the middle of the recession. Almost all other employers pounced on the opportunity to slam their labor force at that time. But instead of "begrudgingly" accepting the stellar offer, their union decided that the union itself was more important than either the company or the locals involved. A loss of the cherished seniority system (most dues per employee) and the possibility of future non-union hires put them feverishly into self-preservation mode - and cost a lot of good people the best paying job they’ll ever have.
Thank you AFL-CIO for letting me know that the Market Pantry sugar is produced by AC. You've made it exceedingly easy for me to buy sugar from now on since I can look for either American Crytal or Market Pantry to buy.
