Who thought this would be a good idea?

You sure Jerry Kill wants to play South Dakota? I mean, they're no North Carolina, but...

Ya $800,000 not to play North Carolina well I do not like the sound of that. I consider this a bad decision by the Gophers. Playing these smaller schools is not much of a challenge for this although they did lose to NDSU. The attitude should be bring them on regardless of who they are.

Well paying $800,000 not to play a game was a bad call. Replacing it with a team the gophers was also a bad mistake. Coach Kill needs to adjust his attitude on topics like this. He knows sooner or later he has to play teams like North Carolina or those fans will find another reason not to attend any games. Right now theme of this football program should be." Bring them on"

Ha! Who says we can even beat these other teams? How is their confidence if you know we lose to another NM State? Such a disgrace, and what happens when the B1G is you know actually good again? Even the coward of the county knows that sometimes you have to fight when you are a man

Now if they can just find a way to buy their way out of the games with Wisconsin, Ohio State, Nebraska, Penn State, and Michigan, they'll be going to a bowl game in Boise soon!

As a long-time season ticket holder, I am very disappointed UNC has been dropped by Jerry Kill. I would much prefer to see Minnesota play tough teams who have something to lose by matching up with the Gophers. Looking back, you can see the Gophers were more competitive against USC and Cal than they were with any of the Dakota schools. This is the first thing I've heard from Coach Kill that I think is flat-out wrong.

I think it is good common sense to do just exactly what Coach Kill, our new Norwood and prexy k have decided to do in this instance. Stick to your guns Coach Kill. NEVER let the complainers get you down coach. Let's play North Carolina sometime in December...or...in a season when things are breaking right...on January 1st... Beat the stinking badger, Gophers! ; 0 )

This coach has killed our football program by running away like a coward. He has turned the Golden Gophers into the Yellow Gophers in the national media and there is no recovering from this disaster. He should be fired immediately in order to save any pride the school has left for the sake of the students and athletes.
