Loved it! So happy to see Gopher hockey is back on top where it belongs. Still, it's kind of disappointing knowing that this will be a conference game next year. It will still be great because it's Gopher hockey, but facing Michigan State in a conference game won't be the same as when UMD, UND, St. Cloud, Mankato, Bemidji, Denver, CC or even Michigan Tech, came to town. Adding Bemidji and Omaha seemed to get the WCHA into a perfect position and now it's getting blown up..for what? Oh well, I'll be watching either way.

One of the best skated games I've watch the Gophers have. By that I mean they never let up. Hope they can keep that up against the more talented teams they will face this season! Very dominating performance. Great job Gophers and Coaches!!!! Go Gophers!!!!

For Gopher fans- get used to it. For Gopher opponents- DEAL WITH IT! Barring major injuries it'll be this way all season. This is the club and this is the year. To the Gopher netminders - a lot of your fellow students use No Doz to pull all nighteres to study. If opponents can't get the puck into your zone for 2/3 of a game- I'd suggest you do the same for the games. Go Gophers! (rah).

This was fantastic. Very glad to see Holl was moved to forward. Now if Budish and Schmidt would improve their play, and if we could settle on a number one goalie, NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Not sure I like Wilcox playing the puck the way he does. Almost lost it several times and better teams will make him regret it.

Fastest Gophers team I've seen in 40 years. If they can handle the physical teams on a smaller rink they have a GREAT chance to return to the Frozen Four again.

Boston College lost to NE; MI lost to RIT; looks like all or most of the first place votes will go to the gophs on Monday.

Funny thing. I don't hear any Lucia bashers out there! But, I'm sure that will come with their first loss - whenever that might happen. In the meantime, congrats to The Don for putting together what looks like a bonafied championship team!

Awesome weekend. Took my 6 & 9 year old girls to Saturday game and had a blast. The zombies in the crowd, the marching band, and an incredibly fast skating team was really fun to watch. Wild who?.... :)
