Jimmy Leyland has spent too much time around Gardy he's lost touch of how to handle his bullpen or specifically his closer. Left him in too long again tonight...this time they blew a four run lead. Gardy's magic rubbed off on Leyland. What a curse.

Real sorry to hear about Jeter, but, the old saying holds true here. When asked who your favorite baseball team is, the answer at this time of the year is always, "whoever is playing the yankee$."

Turned off the television in disgust, and missed Delmon's game winning hit after the Tigers threw away their hard earned lead in the ninth. Changed my whole estimation of the teams from professionals, to rank amateurs. Now I want the Yanks to win just to see if national league pitchers will be as stupid when Ibanez is slipped into the lineup in the ninth. Pfui.

Congrats to Delmon Young, who the Twins didn't want or need, for coming through. Good for the Tigers.

@comment229 speak for yourself buddy and not for me...lifelong Yankee fan...kind of bush there...I think the Yankees are golfing and it's that pathetic Twins team that's playing the Tigers in New York...lol
