Time to drop D1 football program at the U. Turn the stadium into a Saturday flea market / swap meet.

God bless Kill but just pay him off at seasons end and let the new AD hire a new coach. The Maturi curse is alive and well.

I pray that coach is recovering well.

A total embarrassment. And the coach needs to start thinking about retirement and disability. Can't be roving the sidelines with your condition Coach Kill. It's over.

Gods blessins on Coach Kill and his family.

Lets face it...The Gophers will never have a good football program! There is know way to compete with other schools like Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Ohio State. They have fans and students that go to the games and actually care.

Here's hoping Coach Kill will recover in time for his next seizure. With all due respect, Coach Kill's seizures correlate with disappointing losses or too close wins: SIU vs. Illinois State (2005); NIU vs. North Dakota (2010); UMN vs. New Mexico State (2012); UMN vs. NDSU (2012); and today UMN vs. Northwestern (2012). Over and out.

You people are pathetic. Coach Kill is a great man and an excellent coach. Those of us who actually played and coach the game know what you don't. When the Gophers finish the season with three Big Ten wins and a successful bowl game stay away and remember when you quit being a fan!

rickradio11Oct. 14, 1212:50 AM

Oops, sorry I meant 2011 for both the New Mexico State and the North Dakota State losses. Over and out.

I like Coach Kill, but I really don't think that he can handle the stress of Big10 football in the position he is in, keep him on board as he has a great football mind but in a consultant role. Hire a new head coach to take over the running of the team on an everyday status. GODbless you Jerry but its time to put your health and your family ahead of pride, time to resign and move on with life.
