Although the Minnesota Lynx lost the first game in the WNBA finals Sunday, they're favored over the Indiana Fever.

Where was the treasure label a few years ago as the women back then worked just as hard and had a solid reputation but just didn't win as often.

Nice editorial, not backed up by action. Most of the newspaper coverage of the Lynx this season has relied on wire service coverage rather than local reporting, especially for away games. The lack of visibility in the local media, even compared with last year, accounts for a lot of the relative loss of interest in the team during the regular season.
