Jingles might help to make advertising dollars become more effective, We watched that annoying Sprint commercial for the 20th time last night before we even noticed what brand they were advertising.

I find it amazing that in a 10 horse race (the favorite jingel poll attached to this article), one jingle was getting 42% of the vote, with the runner-up at only 12%. Hats off to Barry Manilow and McDonalds for "You deserve a break today..". Bill G.

I personally would have voted for "From the land of sky blue waters", but they didn't include it in the poll. Among current juigles, I don't think anyone has mentioned "We are Farmers- bum buh dum dum bum bum dum". Bill G.

Another form of a jingle, for visual ads only, is the Cialis twin bathtubs. They make no sense (I thought the idea was for couples to get together, not separate), but everyone knows the product is Cialis when you see the twin-tubs scene. Bill G.

Best jingle ever-- "Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener, oh that is what I'd truly like to beeeee, for if I were an Oscar Meyer wiener, everyone would be in love with me." No contest.
