Minnesotans pay higher-than-average prices for their homeowners insurance. According to the latest available numbers, homeowners insurance in Minnesota cost an average of $919 in 2009. The U.S. average is $880. Here's a look at how much residents in different states pay.

It's interesting that all of our neighboring states have less expensive insurance, three of them being a lot less.
