I didn't think the Wolves would ever be able to right their ship under Glen Taylor. They have an actual team now, one which inspires hope and will compete in their division, and draw some fans to downtown during the cold winter months. Good for the community, the state, and area businesses. It's unfortunate though, despite all the excitement, that both the Twins and Wolves cannot seem to get past the big money teams that stack their rosters year in and out. Hopefully they can do some damage.

We could have kept Beasely, one of the great unrealized talents in the league, but Adelbrain is locked into his system and is unable to adjust. Notice that virtually no other teams went after AK, and none put up the ridiculous money Kahn did. Of course, Kahn, in his a style that is unique to him, bid against himself--and won. If Adelman can't teach guys how to do a backdoor cut, that's on him, not the players. Take responsibility, Rick.

@ snoozecruise: Beasley? A one-dimensional player who is useless on offense without the ball and plays almost no defense? No thanks. And consider, if you will, that up until now, we'd (a) had players that, to put it simply, were only marginally coachable, and (b) Adelman only arrived last year and faced the players at the jammed-together start of a lockout-shortened partial season.

Snooze - We've been over this time and time again. You're a Rubio guy as much if not more than a Beasley guy from the posts I've read. Now being a Beasley guy you have to know that he is effective as THE guy with the ball in his hands making the decisions as evident in his first season here. He is ineffective as second fiddle off the ball as evident by his seasons with Wade and last year with Rubio. So who would you rather have ? Beasley or Rubio ? You can't have em both because they are not a match together.
