All you ever want to do is split on the road and win 2 of 3 at home. Didn't Jim Johnson pitch for the Twins?

Can anyone explain the home plate play. How far can a player run out of the way to home plate. I know how it works from home to first, but this looks like a different rule applies.

On ESPN Radio Hershier explained it perfectly. You can't go out of the basepath any further than the length of a 32 oz. bat. It was obvious he did. Another blown call but Baltimore won anyway. They should have got their heads together on that one too. These umps aren't working together at all. It's happening in every sport.

It's cool to see that ehere are at least three people who are watching the playoffs even though the Twins are not involved. I live here, but am not from hre and I'm continually amazed at how few baseball fans theer seem to be around here. Twins fans are not often baseball fans...or so it seems. Meanwhile, go Giants as they attempt to avoid elimination today.
