arguing over a 200 year old war? And I thought rehashing the Iraq war in our presidential election was going too far back. At least it shows that other countries have the same problems with politicians arguing about nothing while the major problems that rot the country remain unresolved...

This stuff sounds like a buncha socialists mouthing-off about so-called "imperialist acts of aggression." Oh Canada, oh Canada .... grow up!

"But we defended our land; we stood side by side and won the fight for Canada." ---- And yet 99.9999% of their population lives within something like 100 miles of the US border. How come, eh? Poised to attack us? As Robin Williams said: "Canada is like a loft apartment over a really great party." No, but seriously, their actors Terrance and Phillip are GREAT!

I suppose they like the idea of repelling the United States. I don't think it makes much sense without considering the US war of independence and also noting that the British were still quite a lot more powerful than the US and that Canada was british. It's not the underdog story they think and the aggression needs to be put in context. It would have been different if the US had won though. Likely all of Canada would be US territory. Bieber would be a US citizen. Shania Twain too.
