Good. Now we can stop seeing those annoying banners that take up the bottom 1/4 of the screen.

There isn't much about KARE 11 that I would miss. I sure hope Dish Network isn't going to charge me extra for it.

We have Dish and are nearing the end of our contract. No AMC with Breaking Bad and Walking Dead and now this with Gannett makes our choice easy. Going over the air with AppleTV and maybe the Roku streamer too. Goodbye cable and satellite company bs.

What? I've been skipping commercials for years with Windows Media Center and watching on a big screen lcd. And that is without Dish or Comcast!

left the CABLE (XFinity) 3 years ago and SATELLITE 2 months ago. Now running Netflix and local HD-Broadcast via $45 attenna. Saw 3 football games Sunday, got the local news, watched some telly and saw a movie I missed in the theater ... for $8/month. Previously $70/month in order to watch the local stations and the 5 other channels I cared about. ...... Message (BACK) to the CABLE-SATELLITE Medium ... ... Not missing you at all.

Because I have high-speed Internet from Comcast, my basic channels are actually cheaper with Comcast than they would be if I switch to OTA.
