The Gophers may well ahve a chance agaisnt Illinois but will be underdogs in all of the rsts of their conference games and deservedly so given how poorly they played against Iowa. All of the conference teams that played yesterday that are on the Gopher schedule will beat the local lads easily with a blowout or two thrown in for good measure. It looks like a 4-8 or 5-7 season at best for the Gophers. Kill may well get the job done in a fews years but there will little progress will have been shown this year come season end.

Too bad Illinois didnt fight back. I'm convinced the cocky w state coach will get his tail kicking by someone this year. He's road the wave too long, they are lucky more than good.
