How about using the minneapolis auditorium exterior and take the organ in storage and put it in the new building?? It should be a solid looking building that is retro for sure.

Love the fact that we will have a Minnesota guy designing this stadium, I think it's really important! Please try to make it a traditional looking stadium that can last for decades, like the Packers have! While I think a retractable roof is mandatory, please try to design it in a way so that it is not overbearing! Even a creatively designed light weight roof put on from November to April is all we really need! Not a fan of the Dallas cowboy stadium because it doesn't look like a football stadium should.

Retractable roof would be great!

Please avoid the crummy viewing experience we saw in the game at Indy. The superstructure shadows all over the field may be easy to ignore in person but they made for a very distracting over/under-exposed game on TV. If those elements are needed pay attention to the geometry/orientation of the building relative to the path of the sun at noon/3PM in the fall/winter.

I'm glad the state got the stadium ... but from the pictures I've seen, these seem like playing in an opened ended crypt ... a three sided hole in the ground ... there is no "open air stadium" feel to it ... anywhere !! ... Be creative for once and not follow the cookie cutter of the past two billion dollar venues ... try sliding both halves of the endzone shelters horizonally to the fifty behind the stands and retracting several sections of the roof back behind the upper sections ... this CAN and WOULD work if someone had the sand to back the idea ... and make it a useful tool for the entire state for every sport to use and a model of what real ingenuity can create for the good of everyone else ... NO one else deals with the weather we have so we do not fit any other mold ever created ... our situation is unique ... so should be our stadium ...

While I am not a fan of the overbearing roof on Miller Park that HKS designed, the retro look and feel to the stadium is absolutely superb!!!

The Indy stadium is quite ugly in person on the exterior. Please keep our design true to the Minneapolis style of buildings as modern with clean lines, and a bit of edgy.

Please do not bother to build anything with a ridiculous little peephole to the shy like the pic with this article. If that is all we get for sky, don't bother. How about a lighter than air, helium filled blimp type retractable roof? Bill G.

We're still pretending that Wilf's playground will cost "only" $975 million?
