Teams have won championships playing the way Frazier wants the Vikes to be playing, but the problem is they can't afford to get too far behind because they can't score quickly which is the primary reason why the Vikes beat SF. The Vikes do have an advantage over other ball control teams because they have AP,Percy and Simpson who can score anytime they touch the ball. If D keeps playing as they have the last two games the offense is basically free to do whatever it wants. Team seems much better playing with a lead this season. This team should be in every game for the rest of the season and they should win more than they lose.

Enjoying the run and I'm happy for Leslie. He's a class act and, as a Vikings fan, I want nothing more than for him and this team to succeed. I too questioned his approach, given the direction of the league, but what's old always becomes new again. Maybe, and hopefully, we're riding the right wave at the right time. Skol Vikes!

The Vikings still have not played Green Bay or Chicago Mr Souhan. They will face reality in November.Their December schedule is simply brutal. It would be nice if they continue to improve.Leslie Frasier is the right coach for them.

Souhan said it right. Everything is "as of now" and that's the mantra I'm following. Trust me, I'm happy to the point of hysteria we're in first, but as the cliche goes, it's a marathon, not a sprint. The next step is to dominate a weak Titan's defense. Skol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the spread offense is the "chic" way to go. The Vikes are not built that way. The staff is making game plans to match the roster. You can say what you want about the play calling that Musgrave has done this season; but I would rather have the ball control, run/short pass, that gave the Vikes a 3-1 record, than the 4 reciever "Open it up" offense that would have us sitting at 1-3. Tough Defense, ball control offense, and good special team play, might not get the Vikes on the cover of GQ magazine. Balanced team play, and no turnovers, is what wins ball games. If you don't agree, then check with our 5000 yd passing/ no Defense brothers to the East. When you win by scoring 40 a game, it is glamourous. When you can't score 40, and can't keep the other team out of the endzone it is a disaster. Ask the 98' Vikings, or the 11' Packers/ Patriots. Think what you want. I'd rather see the Vikes at 3-1 with their "Snoozfest style" than 1-3, loosing games 45- 41, but looking stylish!!! GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK article, but I think Frazier is a bit wrong about his offense... AP is ONE of his best players on offense (and I'm glad we have him). However, Harvin is HIS BEST player on offense, and the centerpiece. And, if anyone has noticed, Harvin is MORE than just a decent RB, when called upon. They are both very good football players, but Harvin, at this point, is still the MOST DANGEROUS player on the Vikings offense. GO VIKINGS!!!

Stop. Step. At least it was the editors fault. "I thought writers were the happiest people on earth". You're welcome.

I have to eat crow about Frazier's coaching. I'm becoming a believer in his tactics. I haven't been this excited since 2009.
