Eight consecutive plays in less than six minutes illustrate just how effectively the Vikings ran the ball.

The ong the vikings have "established" in regards to the offense is that they have yet to give up on the same old "dink & dunk" scheme. The only three people that are involved in this "dink & dunk" vanilla scheme are Harvin, Peterson and Rudolph. This type of offense is not going to fly when they face teams with winning records (Chicago, GB, Houston) later in the season.

They're NOT scoring touchdowns. Ponder is squeaking by with low output numbers. Rethink the Detroit game - the ball wasn't put into the end zone other than on special teams - that's the identity of this offense.

To prplstool and kfanvike: I didn't expect this team to win 3 games this year. I knew the offense wouldn't be able to stretch the field much even with Jerome Simpson. Our offense still needs a couple more playmakers at wide out. I am amazed that they are playing like a team. I can't remember when they played like a team in all three phases. Probably back in 1998. They are headed in the right direction and for the first time in years have depth that won't be ridiculed if one guy goes down. I think if they have another good draft they will be a scary good team in another year or two. Enjoy the wins and quit complaining.

Glad to see Frazier sticking to his guns and running the team the way he always wanted to. Vikes are running their own style of the West Coast that uses the talents of some unique players (AP,Percy,Simpson, and Rudolf}. Most defenses should have a mismatch is some area if all the Vikes weapons are one the field. If another player like Carlson,Aromushadu,or maybe Wright could step into the picture this team could be good for years to come. Thats the thing that I as a fan like this is a young team that is starting to play well. They have potential for years to come.
