Do tell us why we support a company with tax dollars that generates millions of dollars in revenue by selling products to children. I don't want Halliburton receiving tax dollars or PBS.

Sesame Street is a commercial venture. Look at the shelves in your toy store, book store, video store or stage presentations. Why on earth should we be using tax dollars for a company like PBS that makes millions in profits. And for those that want to say they are non-profit you might want to look up what makes an organization non-profit.

I support removing funding for public television. If you want it, fund it yourself.

No more funding these groups that do just fine on their own. Do some actually think we need to fund ANY TV program anymore? Not exactly the days of fireside chats.

"It is only 450 million" as heard on network TV last night. ONLY 450 million. We just downgraded our cable service to save $10.00 a month.
