By selflessly adapting to new roles, Charlie Johnson shows he would rather be useful to his team than feel important.

Hmmnnn all the Frazier/Spielman bashers seem to be nowhere to be found when we are winning. Has it occurred to those who relish in this that maybe just maybe these guys did have a plan and DO know what they are building on here? Quality people like CJ and high character guys make for good chemistry in the locker rooom. These guys are young very young but the future is bright in Viking football....Keep Spielman. Keep Leslie...

Johnson is a good storyline. The Vikes are a young team, and need the presents of vet. players, that are willing to show that they are "Team first" guys. Moving from LT to LG is almost like being the featured RB, and being moved to FB. Not much glamour, but still very important. Alot has been said about Ponder, AD, Harvin, and Rudolph, during the Team's 3-1 start. The O-Line play has been way overlooked. This line has 3 out of 5 new starters. Though I always thought Hutch was one of the best LGs in the NFL; injuries, and time had diminished his elite status. Johnson has played as well as Hutch, if not better. There is no one that can say that this line, has far out played last years' version. These 5 have only played together 4 full games, and will only get better with more experience. The O-Line can only play well as a "Unit". It is great to read an article that talks about a player that just want's to do what will help the group be better, and not what gives him more spotlight. Don't forget the job Davidson, and Silverfield, have done with this O-Line. One Game At A Time. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
