When I saw "vibe" & "toe curling" I immediately was thinking of something else.

The only edge that Target has over Amazon, as far as I'm concerned, is that I can hold the item in my hand before I buy it, and I can have it back home today, instead of having to wait for it to be shipped. Other than that, I don't care about the "vibe" at Target, actually I find it quite off-putting. If I ask where I would find something, PLEASE just cite the aisle number and point me in the general direction, I'll take it from there.

Nothing is worse than a helpful employee #sarcasm. It's corny, I get it, but this article reeks of sensationalism, narcissism and ignorance. This type of training material has been experienced by every person who has ever been to a team building excersize or sat through a motivational speaker. Like cheap hooks in pop music and TV or radio jingles, the buzzwords here are intentionally cheesy and simple to make them catchy and easy to remember. If you've ever had the mcdonalds "i'm lovin' it" jingle caught in your head then you're living, breathing proof that these techniques are effective. Don't hate the players, hate the game.
