The reorganization, unlike any in team history, opens up space for some new faces to join the staff after two years of 195 losses.

You let the head trainer go but you retain the manager and pitching coach? The trainer was more at fault? Huh? What am I missing?

jachesteOct. 4, 1210:23 PM

Hard to perfume the pig. 195 losses in 2 years has consequences. The front office is accountable as well. If I hear them say "budget" one more time, I'll puke on the lot of them. I understand some trades are likely, but for god's sake, Target starting pitchers you want that aren't basement bargins, and pay them. We may not be a big market team, but we aren't resource starved either.

"The Twins on Thursday didn't wait to hold people accountable...." so they fired the least responsible and kept the most responsible? shouldn't accountability start at the top?

They still have some unfinished business-Gardy has to go or nothing will change-he is a total dud.

I don't have anything bad to say about the Twins. Their performance and decision making from ownership to management to coaching the past 2 years speaks volumes. In all seriousness, ownership decided to pay one player 20% of the payroll, then proceeded to let go of our most talented players and get almost nothing in return, then they decided to cut payroll after promising to spend money to field a competitive team if we built them a stadium, while attendance soared and they made the most profit in the history of the organization. If anyone should be let go, let's start with Pohlad for gross negligence, fraud, and incompetance.

Typical Twins are going to promoted assistant trainer to head trainer? What's the difference? Looking forward to Bruno as hitting coach. Maybe Morneau will improve.

Are vavra & ullger going to be in their new positions at the major league level, which has not had these positions before or are they minor league/roving positions? Will some of the scouts be gone also? Will ownership be able to save $20 K per coach? Will the players now be able to do fundamentals correctly again? So many questions, so little time.

The problem is not the's the owners!!! As long as the Pohlads own the team the twins will have dismal seasons. We built the Pohlads a new stadium and what do we get? A last place team. The Pohlads are cheap!!! We need 4 new, quality, starting pitchers...Will they go out and sign them this winter? NO!!! Fire the Pohlads!!!

It's pretty sad when Plan A is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I can only imagine what Plan B was.

Once again the Twins play the fans as fools. Let's ignore the ELEPHANT in the room. That being Gardy. New voice clearly needed. So we run out of town a bunch of coaches. Hope the Twins put Molitor on the staff so he can take over as interm Manager once the Twins are out of it by Mid May next year Twins Way Once again!!
