I would like to visit Cuba without jumping through American hoops. Old Cuban-American Castro haters have had their way on this anti-American restriction for fifty years. Time to FREE AMERICANS! Remember "Save Soviet Jews." How about freeing the Americans? Americans want freedom to travel... like the Russians have. Free American tourists! -R. Perschmann

I visited Cuba last year with a group from my church. Individual travel is still not possible, but many religious, cultural, educational, and charitable groups organize legal tours. I recommend going. You'll find that the country is neither as bad as the Miami exiles say nor as good as the Marxists say, but it is a fascinating blend of cultures and time warp experiences among friendly, vivacious people.
