It is clear now that the Obama administration intentionally misled the American people by telling us that the cause of the Libyan attack that killed 4 Americans was the YouTube video. This story went on for a long time until the anti-terrorist unit concluded and informed Congress that it was not the YouTube video, it was radical Islamic terrorists with heavy weapons in an organized, well orchestrated attack that succeeded. However, after that, Obama continued to blame the YouTube video even after Leon Panetta and Jay Carney had declared it a terrorist attack. Obama cannot bring himself to use terrorist and Islam in the same sentence. When Hasan killed 19 soldiers at Fort Hood, Obama called it workplace violence. He instructed the Homeland Security secretary to use the term "manmade disaster" for terrorist acts. Why does he continue to do this? Why will he not understand what is happening. The terrorists are radical Islamic terrorists - not Presbyterians. Is this refusal to use the truth a manifestation of his inherent closesness to Islam? This is America against radical Islamic terrorists.
The whole sad event is highlighting the ineptitude of the Obama administration. There were advanced warnings. They claimed there weren't. There were previous attacks. Obama and crew said there was not actionable intelligence. The embassy and ambassador were asking for more security. Obama and Clinton turned them down. They said it was spontaneous. The rest of the world knew that was a lie. CNN got on site before the FBI. Four Americans died due to Obama's incompetence.
I'm not saying I know what happened, but neither do the first two commenters on this article. I do know, though, from reading their comments on this website ad nauseum, they are both a lot more interested in trying to tear down President Obama than any sort of truth.
So let's hear the truth as to why Obama said it was YouTube and why UN ambassador Rice said it was YouTube many days after they knew it was not. Come on, back up Obama.
