Red Sox, showing that 90+ losses in a season is completely unacceptable, fire their manager. Twins meanwhile lose 90+ in consecutive seasons and fire their bullpen coach of 32 years. Nice. Way to go guys.

Note that the Red Sox GM did not include Gardy as one of their top targets for new manager. I wonder why?...

What happened to the Red Sox this year must be blamed on owner John Henry and GM Ben Cherrington. They hired Bobby Valentine did'nt they.John Farrel can not fix what ails the Red Sox in a year;neither could Bobby Valentine or anyone else.Unlike the Pohlads in Minnesota,John Henry will spend his money to improve the team. The Red Sox fans demand nothing less.
