Farmington parents seeking second ice rink

Ice for Tigers has won preliminary approval from the City Council to draft a joint powers agreement and build the sheet on city land.

Yes, let's fund another rink, we can't fund our schools. But what the heck, let's have the taxpayers pay for another rink because some parents think it will be popular, are you kidding me!

I think some folks running cities had better figure out that people are still losing their houses and they just continye to spend like drunken sailors. This artice about a new rink, trails... is all very great and when the economy is doing well, fantastic, But to tell folks thay will have to chip in for a WANT not a NEED in this instance, is just a miss use of citizen funs for a poor purpose at this point in our economy.
