Pam Borton's last friend in the department is gone, other than her partner who works down the hall... The place is fraught with dysfunction!

Good start at housecleaning, Mr. Teague. Agree with nomorebrew in that Borton should be at top of list.

If you view the U as a large collection of various interest groups (that is certainly how the left views the U), Pam Borton is the standard bearer of one of those groups. That group "owns" that position. I do not expect that group to relent in their demands without open war ensuing.

so Loon03, if I am to give your post some credence, the politics of the 'U' athletic dept can be broken down to a right vs left kind of a deal?? Wish to expound????

Sad to see Regina Sullivan go. Like her and thought, from what I could see, did a good job.

Norwood baby comes into town and makes major changes cutting women out. Joel's hard work is now down the drain. Norwood now has a man head coach for both the womens and mens Swim Teams - WHY???? Was going fine the way it was. Now letting Regina go - who was doing fabulous. ARE THERE ANY WOMEN LEFT IN THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT??? I'm looking into it - my bet is NOOOO!! Think about what you're doing Nortwood baby. TITLE IX covers alot and maybe you haven't heard about TITLE IX???

nancysunny - while you are at it look into the hiring of Pam Borton's partner who works around the corner from her office! The place is fraught with dysfunction...

Well, he kept his word on not making any changes during the first 90 days. I would guess there will be more big changes coming very soon.
