Bumped and bruised throughout the series, the Lynx point guard summoned enough to make a difference.

"I don't know why people thought we were just going to blow them out of the water," guard Seimone Augustus said. Really? Thanks for pointing out the obvious to her, Chip. It sounds as if the Lynx are starting to learn the alibi and excuse-making offered up by their male counterparts.

Lindsay's 3-pointer late in the fourth was a big one. It gave us some separation and allowed us to hang on. If only her last shot was rebounded by the Lynx, we could have breathed easier.

She is the foundation of the franchise, tough chick from Minnesota. It does not get any better than that!!! Go Lynx, repeat, 2x champions.

Thanks for pointing out the physical toughness of this series. Too many causal observers did think this would be a blow-out, but those folks obviously didn't really know much about the Storm. It's not a case of "alibi and excuse-making", This was a tough match up and any knowledgeable WNBA fan anticipated the battle it was.
