The league and the players' union quickly broke off negotiations, all but assuring a delay of the 2012-13 season.

I know Parise is the new English speaking face of the team, but it would interest me more to hear from players really hit by the lockout. They're the ones faced with losing paychecks, while Parise already cashed his.

Well I just hope that this doesn't go on to long. I still "crinch" when I hear about the multi-million dollar contracts that player make and "crinch" when I hear the multi-million contracts that are offered by management. Yes, I would like to see the "new" Wild team, but at what cost?

It's hard to believe that the NHL could lose another season but it sure looks like it. Call in some independent arbitration because you guy's can't even agree on what the income is your fighting over ! The funniest thing is, owners/players you seem to think you are the NFL or something. Stop shooting yourselves in the foot ! If you loose the season you will never get that money back and it will take years to get the pie back to where it is now! Take each others current positions and meet in the middle, " Let's Play Hockey !"

They are so worried about the money and yet they pissed away $100M by cancelling the preseason. The NHL is going to lose a lot more when regular season games get cancelled or pushed back. I am tired of their issues. I am to the point where I think I might have just as much fun watching the Gophers and local high school games. They are entertaining and sure the talent level isn't at all close, but they play hard. In some ways, I find the college game more entertaining anyway. As much as I was excited at the signings and the possibilities for the Wild, I just don't know if I want to throw out $250 for me and my wife to go to a single game. Fix it soon or you will lose a lot of fans.

Had to smile when I saw Bouchards comment about feeling 95% healthy. I have long since passed Bouchards tender young age and would like to pass this comment on to Mr Bouchard...As you put on more and more years, you will one day be happy to say you feel as good as 95%. Hang in there young man and can't wait to see you and The Wild on the ice again.

I'm sorry Zack, I don’t know of any middle class ticket paying person from any industry that along with their coworkers that take 50% of their employer’s revenues. Don’t know any folks who lost money working unless they are a business owner. Tired of the tail wagging the dog. Your union isnt even countering. Good luck in Europe.
