Only on the Twins would a manager and coaching staff that lost 99 and 95/96 games respectively in two years, still have jobs. Pathetic. This guy couldn't carry Billy Martins' or Tom Kelley" jock straps.

ONLY the twins could have 2 lead off doubles and not score.NEITHER team had much of a lineup playing tonight ,but it was apretty good game.SWARZAK is not a starter thats for sure but he filled in ok.

So, can the Swarzak experiment finally end? How many more chances does this guy get? You would think you would learn after all the other failed experiments when enough is enough. 150% agree with lindy frank.

2 more errors for an organization that used to pride itself on good defense. What happened? This organization used to be considered one of the top defensive teams for quite a few years in the 2000's. Now we get to look forward to Plouffe and his 19 errors at 3B. It sounds like they already have him penciled in to be the starter. It will be interesting to see how the fans react when tickets go on sale for next season.

Very sad to see how far the Twins have fallen since the 2010 first season at Target field. LindyFrank , I agree with you totally.

For what it is worth, with this loss the Twins will draft 4th in next years draft.

Worst team in the American League 2 years in a row. What an excellent organization. They have won 1 playoff series since 1991. Sad town for sports right now.

Too bad posters can't make positive comments about Diamond, since thats who the article is about. Swarzak is a microcosm of the Twins pitching problems. When he is at his best he is JUST OK. Diamond should be the only lock for 2013. Hop he beats the Blue Jays, tomorrow.

My post was about the Twins loss not Diamond. They/the Strib changed the article on me. Don't blame me.

Worst team in the AL, two seasons in a row. Can they make it a three-peat in 2013? Tune in to find out!
