Hunting north of Deer River has been pretty good. Near the Bowstrring area. Leaves are down and birds are getting easier to see.

Same reports on Ruffed Grouse here in Northern WI, Numbers are better than expected.

We're kicking up a decent number of birds in Crow Wing County. Just remember that the conibears come out on October 20 this season. October 19th will be the last day we hunt this year.
