iPad can print wirelessly with right software

Printing wirelessly from an iPad should be easy, but sometimes it's not.

hi there there are third party apps that you can install on an iPad, iPhone or ipod touch easily, you can use the iTunes (app store) which comes automatically downloaded with these devices. regarding the third party apps, there are some like print n share which let you organize email as well as print, or more email dedicated apps like Altamail. Another important aspect to note, is that the Mail that automatically comes with iOS (the operating system for Apple devices) is very limiting, hence why I got altamail. Best of luck in your search! Oh, and if you are getting a printer trying an AirPrint enabled one from the Apple store so you can print wirelessly etc

I agree with Mr. Alexander that the iPhone would be better than an iPod, but I can think of one case where the iPod might prevail: kids. If parents are looking for getting one for an older kid/teenager but don't want to spend a gazillion bucks on texts and phone minutes an iPod works just fine.
