This is good PR for the U. I really hope that Mr Kaler can find ways to control costs better at the U to make it affordable for middle class kids. This is an example of a program that works and should recieve more funding, to offset this underperforming programs should be axed. Our business savvy in fiscal management at the U is a D+ at best.

There seems to be great potential in this program for researchers, students, faculty, and the business community as well as contributing to the fiscal health of The U. And as we know (or should), new business creation is the at the heart of America's economy. I'm glad they're asking business executives to become part of the program. Not too many academics I've met over the years appreciate what it takes to start, grow and sustain a new enterprise. I believe Kaler, the Carlson School, and The U have put together the right combination of resources for the program to be successful. It will be interesting to watch and measure. I certainly wish them well.
