How does Tarkington have the team record for consecutive games without a pick at 4 but Moon has the team record with 193 consecutive passes without a pick? Unless Moon threw those 193 passes in less than 4 games wouldn't he have the consecutive game record as well? Even if Moon got picked late in the 4th game he would have to have been averaging 48 attempts through the 4 games. Not likely.

The new NFL is super soft. It's not the same league as a few years ago. You can't hit the qb, ever. You can't body slam runners/recievers that are still fighting for yards. You can't hit a reciever going over the middle. Pretty soon these million dollar pansies will be wearing flags. Every rule favors the offense, why in the world would a kid want to play defense in HS or college, knowing what these rules are turning into?

Cobretti -- Read it again. "Ponder has gone four games without a pick, ONE BEHIND Fran Tarkenton's team record." -- That means TarKENTON (not Tarkington) went FIVE games without a pick, not four. And yes, Warren Moon coule *easily* put up 193 pass attemps in 5 games. That's under 39 a game. He had many games in that range.

I don't agree with that flag on Greenway at all with that hit on Johnson (or any potential fine). Had Johnson caught the ball, it would have been a legitimate hit it isn't like he took an extra step or two before laying him out. Personally, I think it was a great hit and good play. He was hit with Greenway's shoulder. Referees should have kept the flags in their pockets for that on.
