Perhaps we at least ought to consider that the Vikings might be better than most preseason predictors guessed.

It was certainly nice to win, but this game was more the Lions stunk..I.E. many dropped passes, and horrible special teams play. But a win is a win, and in the NFL its all about the final score.

Vikes play effective old school football - stop the run, run w/ Peterson, physical on both lines and don't beat themselves. They have an exciting young team led by star players - Allen, Greenway, Harvin, Peterson & Ponder's playing at a high level and solid at all positions. WR Simpson plays with a lot of heart, stretches the field and his enthusiasm is contagious. Sunday's have unexpectedly become must watch TV as this team develops right before our eyes much faster than antipated - Go SKOL!

Gotta admit, the secondary is playing better. The offensive play calls kinda scared me, but I'm excited about the W. 3-1, who woulda thunk? SKOL!

Interesting that many of those high-powered offenses from the 2011 season are sputtering, and many of the teams with leaky defenses from 2011 are still leaking...the exception being the Vikings. Love the old time football philosophy, and it's good to see a good man like Leslie Frazier validated. Another solid win, boys. Keep it going.

Temper the enthusiasm folks. 2 special team touchdowns does not constitute an offense and is not likely to happen again. 2 field goals will not win many games.. But as has been said, a win is a win!

vikings looked good. I just dont like they dont have the killer instint. the offense was just trying to wast time, not trying to score points. The offense is a lot better than they showed, they figured that 14 points was all they needed to win

If u have watch all the games they show that the offense is really explosive, when they want to be. they just play so conservitive and beleive in ball control. and they trust there defense to hold for the win. I wouldnt coach this way i would putt up 50pts and than score another td, like new england does

I dont like the way they almost gave the game back in the final few minutes. I dont think the ball broke the plain of the goal. But it was an exciting game to watch..G

A win is a win is a win.....much has been improved but it has to be kept in perspective. Remember we have seen this show before. First half of the season great second half---well, let's not go there. 4 out of the next 6 if not all are winable games if the team plays like this.....Agree with CEDARRIVER though......once they learn how to put these teams away early when given the chance they have to do it. Should be an interesting ride through the last 3/4's of the season.
