Simpson makes his presence felt in Vikings debut

His three-game suspension over, the fleet receiver played a larger role than the stat sheet (four catches, 50 yards) would indicate.

A deep threat to stretch the field, taking the safety with him, leaving the middle open for Percy to operate. If they play Simpson one-on-one without safety help over the top, then Ponder can throw it to him all day long. Should open things up more for Adrian Peterson since there will be one less man in the box to stop the run. If the offense catches up to the level the defense is playing...the Vikes can be dangerous!

Glad that he had a good game and has put his "ugly past behind him. I hope that he and Harvin can really get the passing game going - just think on how much that will affect Peterson's running game. By the way, how about Peterson catching the football? Wasn't that nice to see.

Team still needs a star #1 wideout. Maybe if they get Simpson, Harvin and Wright out there at the same time...

I saw reflections of Moss in his play. Hope he can keep his nose clean. Now all we need is a QB that can throw it accurately for 60 yds.

If he's serious and can stay focused he will be a big help. So far so good. Keep it up.

Simpson doesn't need to get too excited about putting up big numbers. That's not the way the Vikings play, and we're winning games, so gotta be patient.
